Castle House
Castle House Castle Hill Conisbrough South Yorkshire is a Grade II Listed property located close to Conisbrough Castle an important 12th-century walled keep largely intact. Castle House is a two storey dwelling with random stone-work wall under a slate pitched roof. The works involved the reinstatement of a barn attached to the original house that was severely damaged in the earthquake that struck Conisbrough in 2008. The barn had to be taken down and re-built from the ground up to form a double garage, utility room and small kitchen on the ground floor with bedrooms at first floor. The project took almost a year to complete on site including the works to strength and existing retaining wall and cost over £400k
